Deborah Draper

Welcome to iHeart Medicare! I'm Deborah Draper, and I'm happy to have you here. My journey into Medicare advocacy comes from a passion for helping individuals navigate what can often feel like a confusing process. With over two decades of experience as a social worker specializing in mental health, I understand the importance of helpful guidance. It was this foundation that led me to transition into the realm of insurance, where I discovered my calling in assisting people with their Medicare needs.

I am native to Arizona and have a degree in Psychology from Arizona State University.  After graduating I embarked on a fulfilling career path where I was able to work with the seriously mentally ill population. When my husband Dan and I started our family, I embraced the role of a stay-at-home mom. As our boys grew older, I felt a renewed sense of purpose and sought to re-enter the professional arena. Becoming a licensed insurance broker provided the perfect opportunity to blend my expertise with my desire to help others.

My journey into Medicare advocacy was inspired by my beloved father, Dennis, with whom I had the privilege of working closely before his passing in 2016. Many of my current clients began their Medicare journey with him, and I am grateful for the trust they've placed in me to continue his legacy of dedicated service.  I am committed to representing the best interests of my clients, partnering with leading carriers, and ensuring that each individual receives personalized support on their Medicare journey.
